we left Sitka - on board the M/V Kennicott - at 2.30pm on Tuesday July 15.......
and were on our way to Petersburg where we arrived at midnight. By this time Janine and I were just about ready for bed, so saw the arrival....but stayed on deck.
after Petersburg, it was onto Wrangell and Ketchikan.....
Arriving there on Wednesday July 16. Still cool weather with the temperature reaching a high of just 17 deg. (64f) The minimum was only 10 deg!! (50f)
We were in Ketchikan for nearly 7 hours........
Nice little town, but you obviously need more than 7 hours there. But that's all we had, so made the most of it!!
