off to enjoy our slice of paradise

We are off today to our little piece of paradise ...... leaving on the 6.30 ferry for the Indonesian Island of Batam.

We are so looking forward to 4 complete days of reading, swimming, sleeping, eating, drinking and lazing! Have I left anything out??

watching the sunset perhaps....

or a walk along the beach, just 2 minutes from our front door....

yes, a swim in the pool or perhaps a BBQ beside the pool?


...... and then back home to our villa.....


resting and reading in the lounge area.....

or dinner on the balcony - prepared by our maid?

whatever the next fours days has in store for us, we know that we will enjoy the peaceful surrounds of Batam Island.

We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to not only have our own villa but to be part of the community of such delightful and friendly people, the Indonesians of Batam.

What better place to spend Easter?
