Have left the Casino till the last ...... there is still much to see in and around Resorts World Sentosa and am sure I will upload more onto my blog at a later date.
But this is the final posting from yesterday's visit.
We did not go into the gaming area of the Casino, only the entrance and down into the lobby area and the car park - but am sure once you have seen some of these images you will wanting to go yourself!
[ more 'still' images below ]
This is the 'entrance' from near the Festive Hotel, from here you take the escalator down to the Casino lobby area....
this is the ceiling above this entrance .....
and the ceiling after you have gone down the escalator's second level .....
the 'hallway' area as we approach the Casino .....
Above is the main entrance to the gaming area, although the opening date of the casino has not been announced, preparations are in full swing.
Lunar New Year decorations have already been put up at the lobby of the casino.
Although the doors remain shut, visitors are excited about the prospect the casino may be opening soon. Some are hoping the casino will be open in time for the Lunar New Year which begins on February 14.
While foreigners do not have to pay the US$100 levy before entering the casino, locals and those with PR status (like us) will have to do so. Before arriving at the booth, visitors to the casino will be segregated according to whether they are Singaporeans, PR's or overseas guests.
The S$6.6 billion integrated resort at Sentosa is opening in phases, starting with its hotels last month.
Many are also waiting for the theme park, Universal Studios Singapore to open, which is expected to be in March.

The car park is open and waiting for the first vehicle to enter .....
and from the car park when entering the Casino ......
and now back up the escalators to the Festive Hotel and Galleria area.....
but go and see for yourself......
you do not have to enter the gaming area, but go for the experience of just riding the escalator!!

WOW! Just speechless at the pictures. What an experience! Wow.
Looks great Leone. I'd rather pull my own eyelashes out one by one than go to a casino - but your photos have inspired me to go and check it out just to see the decor if nothing else!!
