We have been back from our vacation on Koh Samui (Thailand) now for 4 days, so it's about time I started blogging about what we saw and what we did .....
first off must say it was not easy to get accommodation or flights over the CNY (Chinese New Year) so in future we need to plan well in advance. But hey, isn't that what I did?
Yes ...... first week of September was when I first started going on line to look for a Thai resort to stay at for a week with our daughter. After a few frustrating days of checking I finally sent a message to the forum on Trip Advisor asking if anyone had any suggestions for a quiet, peaceful 'sort of health' resort on Koh Samui in Thailand. Karen immediately sent a message suggesting Elements Boutique Resort and Spa.
Contacted them straight away and we reserved two villa's. The DeLuxe Seaview Apartment with the jacuzzi and the Garden Suite which came with it's own private pool. The Resort is near Thong Krut (south) on the above map.
....... and it was that and more.
The concept of what Elements is about is what makes it stand alone, the care and attention to each guest goes beyond what we have experienced elsewhere.
If anyone is interested in staying at this resort and want to know more about it, do contact me. Am happy to help. click here for some photos on flickr of the resort.
But for John and myself, we had the most wonderful 7 days together, then he left to travel to Taiwan on business and I stayed another 4 days! Some of the photos will show you what fun we had. The photos of us are not mine and I cannot lay claim to any of them. They were taken by our daughter.
Will update the blog over the next few days of places we saw and some of the things we did while on Koh Samui.
