John and I arrived in Singapore just 3 weeks ago on Friday February 9 2007 to start our new life in Singapore!
We went directly to the serviced apartments at Orchard Park Suites where we stayed for 2 weeks. It was a great time to arrive in Singapore and to be in the midst of everything during the Chinese New Year Celebrations as there was so much happening.
We located an apartment within days of our arrival and moved in just one week ago. We now live at Bukit Batok which is in the west and John works at Jurong East.
We are very close to the MRT (rail) station and it takes just 3 minutes on the train from Bukit Batok to Jurong East, John can leave home at 7.30am and be seated at his desk nearly 20 mins later.
So all in all it is a very convenient location.
