the first few days ......









Being in Singapore during the Chinese New Year festivities is quite special. There is so much on that you couldn't possibly see everything, but we did get to see some of the events.

One of them being the Singapore River Hong Bao, an annual festival showcasing the best of Chinese Culture.

The grounds of Esplanade Park turns into a Chinese cultural village with a line-up of folk dances and a bazaar displaying authentic Chinese arts and crafts.

Not forgetting all the wonderful tasty food as you can see in the photos!
Apart from the River Hong Bao, there were many other colorful displays of Chinese art and culture thruout Singapore - a photographers dream.

then there was the Chingay Parade ........

I do like The Esplanade, and the performances they showcased.
Is this Esplanade Park near the 3 giant Durians?
