hope this is not a sign of things to come ....
arrived at Changi Airport at 5.30am only to be told "due to a maintenence problem" our flight has been delayed by 3 hours!!
well I am not going to get in the way of any "maintenence problem", so asked to be put on another flight ........ and the only one available that had two seats in First / Business Class was NIPON AIR. So I hope I don't have to get out there on the runway and start pushing!!!
But the staff are very nice (thats a help) and have put us in the VIP lounge ....... whose complaining???
Have Internet access, spa, massage, coffee, papers, food and even scotch (at 5.30am??) But being given the Royal Treatment is a treat. Love it. :-)))
Flight now leaves for Tokyo at 8.30am, which will only give us a 30 min transfer time for the flight to New York. I think we might need to put our skates on ....
