a friend reminded me this morning about our upcoming holiday next month (thanks Lynda!)
Not that I had forgotten, but it has not been
at the top of the priority list lately!
We are going on a 22 day sailing trip
around the Mediterranean.
This is the ship we will be on and our cabin:
We leave Singapore on March 17 and arrive back on April 12. Have had so much happening recently that I have not given it a lot of thought. So much so that our travel agent (Karin) wrote to me wondering why I had not been in contact about any of the possible side trips we may wish to do.

Too late to book via the shipping line now, so we will have to book once on board or in port. But this is a reminder to me to get on with the homework and start checking on some of our Ports of Call.
and I note that two months from today
we will be in Palermo, Sicily!
Palermo is Sicily's cultural, economic and touristic capital. It is a city rich in history, culture, art, musicfood. Palermo currently has an international airport, and a significant underground economy. In fact, for cultural, artistic and economic reasons, Palermo was one of the largest cities in the Mediterranean and is now among the top tourist destinations in both Italy and Europe. The city also works through careful redevelopment, preparing to become one of the major cities of Euro-Mediterranean area.
