We left Skagway on Monday July 14 2008 at 5.15pm ......... from Skagway we sailed over to Haines, arriving just one hour later!!

We were supposed to be on board the M/V Columbia, but due to mechanical problems we were on the M/V Kennicott for the first two days.
2 hours in port at Haines, but Janine and I stayed on board the ferry. We departed Haines at 8.15pm.
The following image is as we left Skagway......
as you can see we experienced some very cold and foggy weather. We enjoyed the trip though as we played cards, read a lot and played scrabble too.....
not to mention all the coffee's and chatting to other passengers!!
After leaving Haines at 8.15pm we sailed to Juneau arriving at 12.45am Tuesday July 15. Again we stayed on board...... I think we were in bed at that time anyway, we heard noises of us docking, but either too lazy or too tired to even get out to take a peek!!!
We were in port 2 hours and 30 mins and we honestly did not hear us departing at 3.15am :-)
then it was onto Sitka where we arrived at 12.45pm .......
