The Singapore Food Trail

Yes, I have blogged about the Food Trail before ..... but seriously, it is one of the better places to go for lunch. Well its a good place to go at anytime, but have just noticed they have a "special $2.00 coupon" for the month of August where you can save even more.

All you need do is go to the Singapore Food Trail Facebook site scroll down to August 2nd entry and print the following coupon and present to any of the participating stalls to enjoy $2 off with every $5 spent. Promotion lasts till 31 Aug '11, so hurry down to the Singapore Food Trail very soon  ..... even better there is a free shuttle bus service from 6 pick up points:

Raffles Link entrance / Millenia Walk bus stop / Millenia Tower taxi stand / Centennial Tower bus stop / Millenia Walk side entrance / Conrad Centennial bus stop / all pick up locations are listed on the following coupon:

Singapore Food Trail is located below the Singapore Flyer and aims to bring all the best, genuine hawker food in Singapore to one place.

We were there again last Friday evening and some of the foods we had this time were:

and on their website it has:

Singapore Food Trail, an exciting concept dining attraction which brings back the nostalgic feel and charm of Singapore in the 1960s, is set in the backdrop of the iconic Singapore Flyer.

The more than 800-seat food place will have themed interior design and setting from the past, as well as some makeshift stalls along the roadside to enhance your dining experience.

Canopies lining the area will provide comfort and shield for outdoor diners, who can reminisce the good old days while tucking into famous local fares and familiar food of the past, such as the ice balls, kachang puteh and many more. Some vendors include Hill Street Tai Wah Pork Noodles, Boon Tat Street Barbeque Seafood, Rong Chen Bak Kut Teh, and Alhambra Padang Satay.

do let me know of your experience when you next visit the Singapore Food Trail.

Singapore Food Trail

closing at 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday
closing at 11.30pm Friday and Saturday

I really like the food trail. I also like the attention to detail that went into making it.

Flora ... I agree, and going back last Friday I had more time to take note of those finer details ... the details that makes the Food Trail so authentic.

We even had time to talk with the stall holders .. or perhaps it was them that had more time. Either way, we certainly enjoyed our visit!
